Another day of Self love .... And another day to be grateful for visions and dreams we work hard to make sure manifest.. I remember my first Operation Blossom was just ME and my flat iron in a small room trying to explain the importance of loving yourself first and foremost to a few elementary kids. They didnt care so much about what I was saying as much as how cute they would be when they got to school the next morning. But I kept talking and fed into their scalps ,what i thought were, empowering words that I pray now they can look back on and recall my voice. Several years later I have seen that flat iron turn into a makeup brush, clothes hangars, nail polish, photo shoots ,catered food and motivational speaking..... I had a village join me today....A group of women who knows that to uplift my sister is indeed in turn an upliftment of their own spirit. WE got ELEVATED today Sistars. Shandenia Gay /Kaylyn thank you for the time and effort you put into helping me provide for this day...you asked for nothing and for that may the Creator give you everything. Nnenna Ochuru and Jonay T. Hulin you two became fam the day we met... Like sisters from a past lifetime. Thanks for the back to school clothes for my girls for yet another year.Forever abundant you two will be. Jetara Jtlovebeauty Robertson sister girl, you are that calming wind that breezes through.. I have to have your smile and bubbly swag near me on days like this. Thanks for another year to enhance the beauty of my girls with your talent as makeup artist. Candace Strother , you've been someone Ive been watching from afar for so long, Ive always wanted to tell you that your presence alone demands a podium. My girls will forever know thanks to you that everything starts with a thought from pen to paper and are rooted by the words from our mouths and becomes success by the actions we take. That Self love talk was necessary. Thanks to Trini Nails for polishing the ladies nails. I see how our paths crossed yet again..The nail service put the icing on the cake. Thanks again to my nominators and donors: Cheletia Johnson, Dia Tisdel-Pickens (my Sorority/Line sister), Freda Wells,D Daniela Mickens, Swatara Olushola ( the food was delish), Alison Scott Cuillier from Lasting Impressions Dental Group (they were so happy to have new toothbrushes it was so funny) Thank you Ariel Nichole for the photos. Each one is a short story. You remind me that photographers capture souls not just smiles. THANK YOU, ASANTE SANA, MODUPE, GRACIAS ....however many ways you can think of saying thanks....Im thankful. Today was proof that a thought, a word, and a vision can soon become success. The divine in me recognizes the divine in you all. Sky is the limit and may the mother of wind be my carrier. Much love..... #operationblossom2016
